Indian Hills City, Jefferson County, Kentucky is a city located in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. Indian Hills City had an official population of 2882 in 2000. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 3480, making it Kentucky's 127th largest. The city has a total area of 1.98 square miles (5.13 square kilometre), of which, 1.97 square miles (5.1 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 187th largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 2882 residents, 1119 households, and 914 families in the city. The population density was 1459.5 people per square mile (563.52/kmē), making it the 178th most densely populated city in Kentucky.
