Ignacio Town is a town located in La Plata County, Colorado, in the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 669. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 767, It is the 236th most populous in the U.S. state of Colorado. The town spans an area of 0.27 miē (0.7 kmē), it is the 42nd smallest by area in the U.S. state of Colorado.
