Ida Grove City is a city located in Ida County, Iowa, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. Ida Grove City had an official population of 2350 in 2000. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 2056, It is the 135th largest by population in the U.S. state of Iowa. The city extends throughout a territory of 2.09 miē (5.41 kmē ), of which, 2.08 square miles (5.39 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, it is the 183rd largest by area in the U.S. state of Iowa.
