Hyrum City, Cache County, Utah is a city located in the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. It is home to over 6316 people (2000 census). It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 7636, making it the 64th most populous in Utah. The city spans an area of 3.92 mi˛ (10.15 square kilometre), of which, 3.91 square miles (10.13 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 156th largest by size in Utah.

As of the census of 2000, there were 6316 people, 1683 households, and 1498 families living in the city. The population density was 1617.2 people per square mile (624.4/km˛), it is the 51st most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Utah. There were 1744 housing units at an average density of 446 per square mile (172.2/km˛). It has an average household size was 3.75 persons, and the average family size was 4 persons. In the city the population is diverse age-wise, with 40.4% under the age of 18, 11.6% from 18 to 24, 27.6% from 25 to 44, 15.2% from 45 to 64, and 5.2% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 103.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 100.2 males. The median age was 23.7 years, the median age of male residents at 23.2 and the median age of female residents at 24.4. The racial or ethnic makeup of the city was 88.58% White, 0.19% Black or African American, 0.74% American Indian, 0.17% Asian, 0.19% Native Hawaiian, 1.76% from two or more races and 8.36% Other races.
