Hyden City is one of the city of Leslie County, Kentucky, located towards the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 204 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 190, It is the 44th smallest by population in the U.S. state of Kentucky. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.8 square miles (2.07 kmē), giving it the 270th largest by total area among Kentucky.
