Hurt Town, Pittsylvania County, Virginia is a town located in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. The town has a population of 1276 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the town is 1214, giving it the 222nd largest population among Virginia. It has total area of 2.62 mi˛ (6.79 sq km), it is the 205th largest by area in the U.S. state of Virginia.
