Hurlock Town is a one of the Dorchester County, Maryland, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, the population was 1874. The town's estimated population as of July 2008 was 2048, It is 243rd most populous in Maryland. The town has a total area of 2.7 mi˛ (6.99 sq km), of which, 2.5 square miles (6.47 sq km) of it is land and 0.19 square miles (0.49 sq km) of it is water, making it Maryland's 217th largest by total area.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 1874 residents, 710 households, and 491 families in the town. The population density was 748.5 people per square mile (289/km˛), making its Maryland's 81st least densely populated town.
