Huntsville City, Madison County, Arkansas is a city located in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1931 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 2401, making it the 139th most populous in Arkansas. The city comprises an area of 3.02 mi˛ (7.82 square kilometre), making it the 175th largest by size in Arkansas.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1931 people, 761 households, and 494 families residing in the city. The population density was 640 people per square mile (247.11/km˛), it is 207th most densely populated city in Arkansas. There were 853 housing units at an average density of 282.5 per square mile (109.07/km˛). The average household size was 2.43 persons, and the average family size was 3.03 persons.
