Huntington County is a county in the United States of Indiana. In 2000, the population was 38075. The county's estimated population as of July 2008 was 37570, giving it the 40th largest population among Indiana's county. It covers total area of 387.94 sq mi (1004.76 square kilometre), of which, 382.59 square miles (990.9 square kilometre) of it is land and 5.35 square miles (13.86 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 55th largest by area in the U.S. state of Indiana.

For every 100 females there were 94.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 91.7 males. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 37570, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 97.88% White, 0.43% Black or African American, 0.44% American Indian, 0.55% Asian, 0.01% Native Hawaiian, and 0.69% from two or more races.
