Hughes City is a one of the Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, Alaska, located in Western Region (Pacific) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Hughes City is home to 78 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 69, making it the 74th least populous in Alaska. It has total area of 3.1 square miles (8.03 sq km), making it Alaska's 41st smallest by total area.
