Hueytown City is a one of the Jefferson County, Alabama, located in Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 15364 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 15751, It is the 32nd most populous in the U.S. state of Alabama. The city spans an area of 11.62 sq mi (30.1 sq km), of which, 11.61 square miles (30.07 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, making it the 112th largest by size in Alabama.
