Hubbard County is a one of the county from Minnesota's 87 counties, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 18376. In July 2008, its estimated population was 18810, It is 51st most populous county in Minnesota. The county spans an area of 999.39 square miles (2588.41 kmē), of which, 922.46 square miles (2389.16 kmē) of it is land and 76.93 square miles (199.25 kmē) of it is water, it is the 22nd largest by area in the U.S. state of Minnesota.


As of the census of 2000, there were 18376 people, 7435 households, and 5347 families living in the county. The population density was 19.9 people per square mile (7.68/kmē), it is 55th most densely populated county in Minnesota. There were 12229 housing units at an average density of 13.3 per square mile (5.14/kmē). The average household size was 2.45 people, and the average family size was 2.88 people. In the Hubbard County, 24.6% of the population was under the age of 18, 6.4% were 18 to 24, 24.1% were 25 to 44, 26.9% were 45 to 64, and 18% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 99.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 98 males.
