It is Maine's 13th smallest by population . The census designated place spans an area of 7.82 mi˛ (20.25 square kilometre), of which, 7.5 square miles (19.42 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.32 square miles (0.83 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 40th largest by total area in Maine.
