Houma City is a city in the Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana, United States. The city has a population of 32393 as per the 2000 census data. Its population was estimated at 32512 in July 2008, It is the 13th largest by population in the U.S. state of Louisiana. It covers total area of 14.16 mi˛ (36.67 square kilometre), of which, 14.03 square miles (36.34 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.13 square miles (0.34 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 33rd largest in terms of geographical size.
