Hot Spring County is a county located in the United States of Arkansas. In 2000, county's population was 30353 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 31909, It is the 22nd most populous county in the U.S. state of Arkansas. It covers total area of 622.16 sq mi (1611.39 sq km), of which, 614.93 square miles (1592.66 sq km) of it is land and 7.22 square miles (18.7 sq km) of it is water, it is the 50th largest in terms of geographical size.

It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 31909, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 27622 White, 3590 Black or African American, 188 American Indian, 72 Asian, 13 Native Hawaiian, and 424 from two or more races.
