Horseheads Village is a United States city located in the Chemung County, New York, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 6452 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 6254, It is the 278th largest by population in the U.S. state of New York. It is spread over 3.87 square miles (10.02 square kilometre), it is the 286th largest by area in the U.S. state of New York.
