Horatio City is a city located in Sevier County, Arkansas, in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Horatio City is home to 997 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 1025, making it the 200th most populous in Arkansas. The city extends throughout a territory of 1.83 square miles (4.74 kmē ), it is the 267th largest by area in the U.S. state of Arkansas.

The population density was 546 people per square mile (210.81/kmē), it is the 247th most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Arkansas.
