Hooker City is one of the city of Texas County, Oklahoma, located towards the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 1788. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 1722, It is the 152nd most populous in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. Its area is just over 0.91 sq mi (2.36 square kilometre), it is the 390th largest in terms of geographical size.
