The census designated place comprises an area of 15.16 square miles (39.26 sq km), of which, 14.15 square miles (36.65 sq km) of it is land and 1.01 square miles (2.62 sq km) of it is water, it is the 20th largest by area in the U.S. state of Hawaii.
