The city extends throughout a territory of 12.73 square miles (32.97 square kilometre ), of which, 12.7 square miles (32.89 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 46th largest by total area among Mississippi.
