Hokah City is one of the city of Houston County, Minnesota, located towards the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 614 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 561, It is the 439th largest in terms of population. The city comprises an area of 0.73 mi˛ (1.89 sq km), of which, 0.71 square miles (1.84 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 247th smallest by total area in Minnesota.

As of the census of 2000, there were 614 people in the city, organized into 271 households, and 159 families living in the city.
