Hodgeman County is a county located in Kansas, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 2085. The July 2008 population estimate is 1948, It is fourth least populous county in Kansas. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 860.24 square miles (2228.01 square kilometre), of which, 859.92 square miles (2227.18 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.32 square miles (0.83 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 42nd largest by total area in Kansas.
