Hitterdal City is a United States city located in the Clay County, Minnesota, United States. It is home to over 201 people (2000 census). As of July 2008, the estimated population was 199, It is the 191st smallest in terms of population. The city spans an area of 0.88 sq mi (2.28 kmē), of which, 0.81 square miles (2.1 kmē) of it is land and 0.07 square miles (0.18 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 570th largest by total area in Minnesota.
