Hinsdale Cdp had an official population of 1713 in 2000. It is the 19th smallest by population in the U.S. state of New Hampshire. It covers total area of 2.5 mi˛ (6.47 square kilometre), of which, 2.43 square miles (6.29 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 17th smallest in terms of geographical size.
