Hines City is a United States city located in the Harney County, Oregon, United States. The population of the city was 1623 as per the 2000 census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 1406, It is the 155th most populous in the U.S. state of Oregon. It covers total area of 2.39 square miles (6.19 sq km), of which, 2.37 square miles (6.14 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, it is the 113th largest by area in the U.S. state of Oregon.
