Hindman City is a city located in the Knott County, Kentucky, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 787 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 767, giving it the 278th largest population among Kentucky. Its area is just over 3.38 square miles (8.75 kmē), it is the 129th largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 787 people in the city, organized into 356 households, and 220 families residing in the city.
