Hillsborough County is a one of the county from New Hampshire's 10 counties, located in Northeastern Region (New England) of United States. The population of the county was 380841 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 402042, It is the largest county by population in the U.S. state of New Hampshire. Its area is just over 892.2 miē (2310.79 kmē), of which, 876.36 square miles (2269.76 kmē) of it is land and 15.84 square miles (41.03 kmē) of it is water, making it New Hampshire's fifth largest county by total area.

The population density was 434.6 people per square mile (167.8/kmē), giving it the most densely populated county among the New Hampshire.
