Hill City City is one of the city of Aitkin County, Minnesota, located towards the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 479 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 440, making it Minnesota's 494th largest. Its area is just over 1.32 square miles (3.42 sq km), of which, 1.09 square miles (2.82 sq km) of it is land and 0.24 square miles (0.62 sq km) of it is water, it is the 415th largest by area in the U.S. state of Minnesota.
