Highmore City, Hyde County, South Dakota is a city located in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 851 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 714, It is the 83rd most populous in the U.S. state of South Dakota. The city encompasses an area of 1.91 square miles (4.95 square kilometre), it is the 63rd largest in terms of geographical size.
