Highland Town is a town in the Lake County, Indiana, United States. In 2000, the population was 23546. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the town is 22641, giving it the 35th largest population among Indiana. It has total area of 6.89 mi˛ (17.85 square kilometre), of which, 6.87 square miles (17.79 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 70th largest by size in Indiana.

As of the census of 2000, there were 23546 residents, 9636 households, and 6682 families in the town.
