Highland Lake Town is one of the town of Blount County, Alabama, located towards the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, town has a population of 408 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 500, making it the 111th least populous in Alabama. The town encompasses an area of 1.99 square miles (5.15 sq km ), of which, 1.63 square miles (4.22 sq km) of it is land and 0.36 square miles (0.93 sq km) of it is water, making it Alabama's 117th smallest by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 408 residents, 164 households, and 129 families in the town.
