Highland Falls Village, Orange County, New York is a city located in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. Highland Falls Village had an official population of 3678 in 2000. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 3705, It is the 411th largest by population in the U.S. state of New York. The city spans an area of 1.12 mi˛ (2.9 square kilometre), of which, 1.11 square miles (2.87 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 282nd smallest by area in the U.S. state of New York.

For every 100 females there were 95.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 86.8 males. The median age is 38.2 years, the median age of male residents at 36.5 and the median age of female residents at 39.5. The racial makeup of the city was 76.94% White, 12.75% Black or African American, 0.38% American Indian, 2.18% Asian, 0.19% Native Hawaiian, 3.78% from two or more races and 3.78% Other races.
