High Springs City is a city located in Alachua County, Florida, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 3863 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 4629, making it Florida's 487th largest. The city encompasses an area of 18.48 square miles (47.86 kmē ), of which, 18.45 square miles (47.79 kmē) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 94th largest by total area in Florida.
