High Point City, North Carolina is a city of the Guilford, Davidson, Randolph and Forsyth counties, North Carolina, United States. As of 2000 the population was 85839. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 101835, giving it the eighth largest population among North Carolina. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 50.69 sq mi (131.29 square kilometre), of which, 49.05 square miles (127.04 square kilometre) of it is land and 1.64 square miles (4.25 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the eighth largest by total area in North Carolina. It is ranks eighth in the size of its inland waterways in North Carolina.
