High Bridge Borough is a borough located in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. The population of borough in 2000 stood at 3776 as per the Census data. The borough's estimated population as of July 2008 was 3674, It is 334th most populous in New Jersey. It covers total area of 2.43 sq mi (6.29 square kilometre), of which, 2.41 square miles (6.24 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 247th largest by size in New Jersey.

The population density was 1566 people per square mile (604.64/kmē), making its New Jersey's 124th least densely populated borough. There were 1478 housing units at an average density of 613.3 per square mile (236.8/kmē). The average household size was 2.64 persons, and the average family size was 3.1 persons. In the borough Population was distributed with 27.6% under the age of 18, 5.3% from 18 to 24, 36.4% from 25 to 44, 24.2% from 45 to 64, and 6.5% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 94 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.7 males. The median age is 36.1 years, the median age of male residents at 35.5 and the median age of female residents at 36.5. The racial makeup of the borough was 96.24% White, 0.79% Black or African American, 0.34% American Indian, 1.43% Asian, 0.03% Native Hawaiian, 0.72% from two or more races and 0.45% Other races.
