Hewlett Neck Village is a city located in Nassau County, New York, in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 504. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 533, making it the 101st least populous in New York. The city spans an area of 0.23 miē (0.6 kmē), of which, 0.21 square miles (0.54 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 22nd smallest by total area in New York.

As of the census of 2000, there were 504 people in the city, organized into 155 households, and 139 families residing in the city. The population density was 2369.1 people per square mile (914.71/kmē), it is the 347th most densely populated city in the U.S. state of New York. There were 163 housing units at an average density of 776.2 per square mile (299.69/kmē). It has an average household size was 3.25 persons, and the average family size was 3.39 persons.
