Hewlett Harbor Village is a city in the Nassau County, New York, United States. As of 2000 the population was 1271. In July 2008, its estimated population was 1292, It is the 320th least populous in the U.S. state of New York. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.82 mi˛ (2.12 square kilometre), of which, 0.72 square miles (1.86 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.09 square miles (0.23 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 168th smallest by area in the U.S. state of New York.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1271 people, 429 households, and 380 families residing in the city. The population density was 1754.3 people per square mile (677.34/km˛), making it the 445th most densely populated city in New York. There were 437 housing units at an average density of 606.9 per square mile (234.33/km˛). The average household size was 2.96 and the average family size was 3.16. In the Hewlett Harbor Village, 29.3% of the population was under the age of 18, 3.8% were 18 to 24, 19.8% were 25 to 44, 28.7% were 45 to 64, and 18.3% who were 65 or older.
