The July 2008 population estimate is 756, It is the 197th least populous in the U.S. state of New York. The city comprises an area of 0.87 mi˛ (2.25 square kilometre), of which, 0.77 square miles (1.99 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.09 square miles (0.23 square kilometre) of it is water, making it New York's 181st smallest by total area.
