Herriman Town is one of the town of Salt Lake County, Utah, located towards the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. The population of town in 2000 stood at 1523 as per the Census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the town is 17689, It is the 133rd most populous in the U.S. state of Utah. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 9.12 sq mi (23.62 sq km), making it the 75th largest by size in Utah.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1523 residents, 437 households, and 389 families in the town. The population density was 167.1 people per square mile (64.52/kmē), giving it the 82nd least densely populated town among the Utah. There were 459 housing units at an average density of 50.3 per square mile (19.42/kmē). The average household size was 3.49 and the average family size was 3.73.
