Hephzibah City, Richmond County, Georgia is a city located in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. The city has a population of 3880 as per the 2000 census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 4533, It is the 163rd most populous in the U.S. state of Georgia. The city comprises an area of 19.42 sq mi (50.3 kmē), of which, 19.36 square miles (50.14 kmē) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 kmē) of it is water, making it Georgia's 30th largest by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 3880 people, 1374 households, and 1091 families living in the city. The population density was 200.4 people per square mile (77.37/kmē), it is Georgia's 93rd least densely populated city. There were 1570 housing units at an average density of 81.1 per square mile (31.31/kmē). The average household size was 2.81 and the average family size was 3.14.
