Henry County is a United States county located in the United States of Kentucky. The population of the county was 15060 as per the 2000 census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 15741, It is the 74th largest county by population in the U.S. state of Kentucky. The county spans an area of 291.11 square miles (753.97 kmē), of which, 289.32 square miles (749.34 kmē) of it is land and 1.79 square miles (4.64 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 68th largest by total area among Kentucky's county.

In the county Population was distributed with 25.4% under the age of 18, 7.9% from 18 to 24, 29.7% from 25 to 44, 24.7% from 45 to 64, and 12.3% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 99.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.9 males. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 15741, The racial makeup of the county was 14935 White, 538 Black or African American, 40 American Indian, 70 Asian, 4 Native Hawaiian, and 154 from two or more races.
