According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the town is 316, It is the 41st least populous in the U.S. state of West Virginia. Its area is just over 0.35 sq mi (0.91 kmē), of which, 0.34 square miles (0.88 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, making it West Virginia's 40th smallest by total area.
