Henderson City is a city located in Clark County, Nevada, in the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. The city has a population of 175381 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 252064, It is the fourth largest by population in the U.S. state of Nevada. Its area is just over 79.69 sq mi (206.4 kmē), it is the 11th largest in terms of geographical size.

The population density was 2200.8 people per square mile (849.73/kmē), making its Nevada's 13th most densely populated city. The racial or ethnic makeup of the city was 84.49% White, 3.76% Black or African American, 0.7% American Indian, 3.98% Asian, 0.42% Native Hawaiian, 3.49% from two or more races and 3.16% Other races.
