Henagar Town, Alabama is a town of the DeKalb County, Alabama, United States. As of 2000 the population was 2400. The town's estimated population as of July 2008 was 2579, making it the 173rd most populous in Alabama. The town has a total area of 21.9 square miles (56.72 sq km), of which, 21.86 square miles (56.62 sq km) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 sq km) of it is water, making it the 43rd largest by size in Alabama.

As of the census of 2000, there were 2400 residents, 937 households, and 716 families in the town. The population density was 109.8 people per square mile (42.39/kmē), it is Alabama's 62nd least densely populated town. There were 1056 housing units at an average density of 48.3 per square mile (18.65/kmē). The average household size was 2.56 people, and the average family size was 2.96 people.
