It is the 58th largest by population in the U.S. state of Montana. The census designated place has a total area of 14.75 sq mi (38.2 kmē), of which, 14.73 square miles (38.15 kmē) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 22nd largest by total area among Montana.
