Heflin City is a city located in the Cleburne County, Alabama, United States. In 2000, the population was 3002. Its population was estimated at 3551 in July 2008, It is the 151st most populous in the U.S. state of Alabama. The city spans an area of 12 mi˛ (31.08 square kilometre), of which, 11.82 square miles (30.61 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.18 square miles (0.47 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 108th largest by total area among Alabama.
