Hector City, Renville County, Minnesota is a city located in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The population of the city was 1166 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 1072, making it Minnesota's 312th largest. The city extends throughout a territory of 1.54 sq mi (3.99 sq km ), makes it the 370th largest by total area in Minnesota.
