Hazleton City is a city in the Buchanan County, Iowa, United States. It is home to over 950 people (2000 census). It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 901, It is the 294th largest by population in the U.S. state of Iowa. The city comprises an area of 0.78 mi˛ (2.02 sq km), of which, 0.74 square miles (1.92 sq km) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 467th largest by total area in Iowa.
