Hayward City, Sawyer County, Wisconsin is a city located in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 2129 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 2342 in July 2008, It is the 224th largest in terms of population. The city has a total area of 3.21 sq mi (8.31 kmē), of which, 2.97 square miles (7.69 kmē) of it is land and 0.24 square miles (0.62 kmē) of it is water, it is the 210th largest by area in the U.S. state of Wisconsin.
