Hawesville City is one of the city of Hancock County, Kentucky, located towards the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. The population of the city was 971 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 982, It is Kentucky's 239th largest by population . The city comprises an area of 1.3 square miles (3.37 square kilometre), making it Kentucky's 233rd largest by total area.
